Sola is a mosaic artist with a background in graphic design and print process. Long-attracted to mosaic art and needing an additional creative outlet, she began making mosaics after studying extensively at the Mosaic Art School in Ravenna, Italy. She has studied under and apprenticed with several mosaic masters in California. Her style is characterized by a love of color and spiraling forms. Sola specializes in ceramic tile and glass mosaic. She has completed architectural mosaic installations, and site specific projects for private homes and businesses. Sola joined Mozaico in 2010; she works closely with our clients, to help them know what style of mosaics to use in their homes.
